Bio

Imagine an eclectic sound, mixing the smoothness of R&B, the edge of Rock and Roll, the lyrical respect of Spoken Word, and the passion of Soul.

Singer/songwriter, Chirch, together with his bad ass band called The Dirty Thought work to deliver just that sound. We describe it as Rhythm & Rock!

On a national level, Chirch has opened for the likes of Usher, Kirk Franklin, & Goapele. In Minneapolis, Chirch and The Dirty Thought have been honored to perform at the Memorial Benefit of Carol Fitzgerald, deceased mother of NFL star Larry Fitzgerald, and at the Minneapolis Urban League Gala for key note speaker Dr. Reatha Clark King.

With a  strong close to 2014, Chirch & The Dirty Thought performed at a few of their favorite venues: Bunkers & the famous Twin Cities iconic venue First Ave, which earned fame by Minnesota's own and the legendary Prince.

Chirch and The Dirty Thought are now recording a debut album set to finish by summer 2015!

The Dirty Thought

"The Dirty Thought," is a title that implies the battles of life which start in the mind, whether it be sexual, drugs, food, procrastination, anger, low selfesteem, greed, stc. It's a bold contrast against Chirch (the part that wills to do right) to reflect the reality of hardship and temptation that we must all overcome.

CHIRCH

The name Chirch holds a simple, deep meaning. As the "I" replaces the letter "u" in "church," it denotes individual uniqueness and responsibility. Chirch defines the greatest love story anyone can experience, because despite one's individual failures and weaknesses, and orientation to culture or sex, every individual is yet loved equally by the Creater, ie, God loves Chirch.
